With over 15 years of land planning, conservation and real estate experience, Alex Van Alen has developed a reputation for working with buyers and sellers of significant farms and estates to achieve outstanding financial and conservation outcomes for all parties involved. As a Realtor in Pennsylvania, Alex completed several of the largest farm and estate deals in Radnor Hunt Country.

Alex has earned a Master’s Degree in Ecology from Colorado State University, and recently completed a course on financing conservation deals at Yale University. Alex has spent several years as the Director of the Essex County Trail Association, was Director of Land Protection for a land trust in Pennsylvania, and serves on the Ipswich Open Space Committee and Essex County Greenbelt’s Stewardship Committee. Alex lives in a renovated farmhouse in Ipswich with his wife, two sons and an old dog.
