The charm and character of “old” houses fuels Patty Roundy’s passion for real estate. “Each one is unique—much like each client and each real estate transaction—and that uniqueness is what makes this industry so interesting and so exciting,” says the Essex resident. Patty, who was born in Beverly and also lived in Ipswich, feels that same excitement for the North Shore. “I grew up here, went to school here, and today I live here,” she says. “I can’t imagine being any place else and why would I want to. The North Shore has so many wonderful amenities from outdoor activities to indoor pleasures including restaurants and galleries.” Patty adds that the bonus of being a native in the know about all the “best” places is that she gets to “share” that information with clients as well as newcomers.
